Discovered a new active molecule of sweet taste receptor by hands-on experiments in tissue culture. Developed new cell-based assay for receptor activation. Characterized taste of new molecule by cell based and sensory assays. Heading or participating to collaborations with world-wide researchers, supervision of MSc students. Characterized taste differences by testing the relation between phenotype and genotype using cell-based and sensory methods. Analyzed taste molecule interactions by psychophysical methods.
